Tuesday, April 22, 6:30pm, Meloy Gallery, PARTV Center: Encore presentation by Dr. Valerie Hedquist, UM Professor of Art History and Art Criticism, "The Place of the Beggar in Dutch Society and Art." This compelling lecture was filled to capacity- with dozens more turned away - on April 15, and we have had numerous requests for a repeat. Doors will open by 6pm, so come early to save your seat, then be sure to stay for the panel discussion that will follow it at 7pm:
Valerie Hedquist will facilitate this panel discussion with three local experts in the field including
Minkie Medora, Maxine Jacobson, Aaron Brock.
Minkie Medora is on the board of the Montana Food Bank Network and chair of the Network's Food Security Council.
Maxine Jacobson is an independent researcher, consultant, and author. Along with several Missoula-based partners, she received a USDA grant from 2005-2007 to investigate the barriers to and opportunities for food security in Missoula County.
Aaron Brock is currently the Development Officer for Missoula Aging Services. He previously worked at the Missoula Food Bank, serving most recently as its Development Director.
