The University of Montana - Helena College of Technology offers two-year programs in business, trades, technical and health occupations designed to meet the state's business and industry needs for technologically- skilled workers. All of the curricula are industry-approved and emphasize learning in a hands-on environment. In addition, the college offers an Associate of Science degree and Associate of Arts degree designed to transfer to four-year institutions. The college, founded in 1939, is fully accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, approved by the Montana State Board of Nursing, certified and licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration, and certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence.
Helena's students take a full complement of courses in mathematics, communications, computer literacy, and career development.
